Conference Realignment: BYU could trigger C-USA exodus

According to multiple reports BYU is seriously considering an invitation to join the Big East Conference as a football only member.

If BYU joins the Big East expect Houston, UCF, and SMU to leave Conference USA shortly after. Those four schools along with Navy and Air Force will help form a twelve team Big East football conference. BYU’s addition to the Big East is vital, it has been reported that Boise State will not join the conference unless a western division is created. Reports indicate that a western division would consist of Air Force, BYU, Boise State, UCF, Houston, and SMU. Navy would join Louisville, Cincinnati, USF, Connecticut, and Rutgers in the east.
