1) After taking the 2011 season off, wide receiver Randy Moss has returned to the NFL. The former Marshall star signed a one year contract with the San Francisco 49ers yesterday, financial terms were not disclosed. Read this San Francisco Chronicle article for more details.
2) Former Thundering Herd offensive lineman Doug Legursky was tendered a contract by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
