Tulsa has hired a new men's basketball coach, Kansas assistant and former Jayhawk star Danny Manning. Manning has spent nine years on the KU staff, the past five as a full time assistant. The Tulsa job will be Manning's first as a head coach.
Manning replaces Doug Wojcik who was fired after leading the Golden Hurricane's for seven seasons, accumulating a 140-92 record.
