On Sunday the University of Tulsa announced that head men’s basketball coach Doug Wojick will not return next year. A graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School in Wheeling WV, Wojick had been the coach at Tulsa for seven seasons compiling a record of 140-92.
Tulsa athletic director Ross Parmley cited declining attendance and revenue from the basketball program as reasons for letting Wojick go.
