Marshall Basketball: Herd commitment comes up short for state championship title

Despite 28 points from Marshall commitment Tamron Manning, Scott County could not overcome number one ranked Trinity High School in last Saturday’s Kentucky Sweet Sixteen championship game, losing 71-53.

For the year Manning averaged about 15 points, six rebounds, three assist, and three steals per game. The 6’3 guard is a finalist for Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball award.
