Marshall in the NFL, Week 6

Weekly review of Marshall University alumni in the NFL:

1. Ahmad Bradshaw, Running Back, New York Giants

Ahmad Bradshaw lead the Giants with three rushing touchdowns during New York’s 27 – 24 win over Buffalo. Besides the thee touchdowns Bradshaw rushed for 104 yards on 24 carries and caught two passes for 26 yards.

2. C.J Spillman, Safety, San Francisco 49ers

C.J Spillman did not register a tackle during San Francisco’s 25 – 19 win over Detroit.

3. Chris Crocker, Safety, Cincinnati Bengals

Starting at safety Chris Crocker recorded three tackles in Cincinnati’s 27 – 17 win over Indianapolis.

4. Doug Legursky, Guard/Center, Pittsburgh Steelers

Doug Legursky left Sunday’s game in the first quarter with a dislocated toe. Despite losing Legursky, Pittsburgh defeated Jacksonville 17 – 13. Early reports indicate Legursky should be able to play this week against Arizona.

5. Byron Lefwich, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers*

* On injured reserved, broken arm.

6. Albert McClellan, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens

Albert McClellan’s tackle streak ended as the Baltimore Ravens defeated Houston 29 – 14. Leading up to last weeks game McClellan had registered a tackle in three straight games.

7. Lee Smith, Tight End, Buffalo Bills

Lee Smith made his presence felt on special teams during the Bills 27 – 24 loss to New York, registering one tackle.
