Marshall Basketball: DeAndre Kane transfer tweet just a joke

Marshall University sophomore basketball player DeAndre Kane just confirmed via twitter that his earlier tweet about transferring to Michigan was a joke.

Don’t know if this is true or not but, Marshall University sophomore basketball player DeAndre Kane just tweeted on his personal twitter account that he is transferring to the University of Michigan.

During the 2010-2011 season Kane won Conference USA’s freshman of the year award averaging 15.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assist per game. Earlier this month Kane was named to C-USA’s all first team preseason list.

If Kane is transferring he would be required to sit out a year at Michigan before becoming eligible.
