In a interview with ESPN’s Andy Katz, Air Force athletic director Hans Mueh said the speculated football merger by the Mountain West and Conference USA producing a BCS automatic bid was “a real stretch”.
It has been reported that Air Force will accept an invitation to put its football program in the Big East while its other sports move to the WAC or Missouri Valley Conference.
