Marshall in the NFL, week 4

Weekly review of Marshall Alumni in the NFL:

1. Ahmad Bradshaw, Running Back, New York Giants

Ahmad Bradshaw lead the Giants in rushing with 39 yards on 12 carries with a touchdown, he also fumbled once. Through the air Bradshaw caught four passes for 11 yards. New York beat Arizona 31 – 27.

2. C.J Spillman, Safety, San Francisco 49ers

Playing mostly special teams C.J Spillman did not register a tackle during San Francisco’s 24 -23 win over Philadelphia.

3. Chris Crocker, Safety, Cincinnati Bengals

Chris Crocker registered three tackles during the Bengals 23 – 20 win over Buffalo.

4. Doug Legursky, Guard/Center, Pittsburgh Steelers

Sat out the Steelers 17 – 10 loss to Texas with a left shoulder injury.

5. Byron Lefwich, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers*

* On injured reserved, broken arm.

6. Albert McClellan, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens

Albert McClellan stretched his tackle streak to three games, getting one take down during Baltimore’s 34 – 17 win over New York (AFC).

7. Lee Smith, Tight End, Buffalo Bills

Lee Smith was activated for his first NFL game on Sunday against Cincinnati but did not register any stats. Buffalo lost to the Bengals 23 – 20. A Marshall University reporter caught up with Smith in Cincinnati and published an interview with him on YouTube.
