Marshall Football: Offical visitors for 10/15/11

Per Chuck McGill of the Charleston Daily Mail the following high school football players are making an official visit to Marshall today.

1. Josh Murriel, OL, Port St. Lucie High School (FL)

Josh Muriel is a 6'5, 302 lbs offensive lineman from Port St. Lucie High School. Rivals.com rates Murriel as a three star prospect. Besides Marshall, Murriel also has scholarship from Memphis, New Mexico State, and Georgia State.

2. Kent Turene, LB, Atlanta Sports Academy (GA)

Coming out of high school Kent Turene accepted a scholarship to the University of Georgia. Turene failed to qualify academically for the Bulldogs and is spending 2011 at the Atlanta Sports Academy, a prep school. At 6'3, 230 lbs Turene is a physical presence at linebacker.

3. Corey Tindal, CB, Atlanta Sports Academy (GA)

Another visitor from the Atlanta Sports Academy, Corey Tindal is a 5'10, 175 lbs, corner back. Tindal committed to FIU coming out of Florida's Boyd Anderson high school but failed to qualify. AS a high school senior Tindal was rated a three star prospect by Rivals.com.

4. Andre Scott, S, Oak Ridge High School (FL)

Andre Scott is a 5'11, 175 pound safety from Oak Ridge High School (FL). Rated a three star prospect by Rivals.com , Scott has scholarship offers from Marshall, Cincinnati, UCF, Tennessee, and Purdue.

5. Rayshawn Jackson, WR, Oak Ridge High School (FL)

Marshall's second visitor from Oak Ridge High School, Rayshawn Jacskon is a 5'10, 175 pound wide receiver. Besides Marshall, Jackson has scholarship offers from Memphis, Temple, and Washington State.
