RIVERSIDE STAR wide receiver Raheem Waiters is verbally committed to Marshall, but will not be a part of Holliday's inaugural Herd recruiting class.

Waiters, who is rehabilitating a knee injury, has been asked to greyshirt, according to Riverside Athletic Director Jason Cantrell.

Waiters will not enroll at Marshall until January 2011. His eligibility clock will not start until the Fall of 2011, when he could redshirt and sit out a second season or play immediately.

Waiters' senior season came to an abrupt end when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Oct. 9 against George Washington. The 6-2 receiver, who originally committed to Mark Snyder in June, had 77 receptions for 1,289 yards and 12 touchdowns in his final three seasons with the Warriors.
