Marshall Football’s Newest Verbal Commitment Antwon Chisholm

The Marshall Thundering Blog is comfortable reporting that Marshall newest football verbal commitment is Glades Central running back Antwon Chisholm: http://rivals.yahoo.com/marshall/football/recruiting/player-Antwon-Chisholm-81991.

Chisholm previously committed to both Oklahoma State and Mississippi State before ultimately choosing Marshall. In April of 2009 Chisholm was acused of pulling a knife on a mall security guard. http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/highschoolbuzz/2009/04/06/glades-central-rb-antwon-chisholm-pulls-knife-at-mall/

The incident did not prevent Chisholm from playing football this season. His high school, Glades Central, lost the Florida 2A state championship game to Cocoa 27 – 13 after completing a undefeated regular season. Video highlights of Chisholm (number 7 for Glades Central, maroon and gold uniforms) at the state championship game are available here along with a recap of the game: http://www.pbgametime.com/news/glades-central-loses-state-football-championship/66672.
