Marshall in the NFL Week 17

Doug Legursky, C, Pittsburgh Steelers

First interior lineman off the bench during Pittsburgh’s 30 – 24 win over Miami. Despite the win Pittsburgh did not qualify for the playoffs.

Randy Moss, WR, New England Patriots

Caught 5 passes for 75 yards during New England’s 34 – 27 loss to Houston. Even though they lost New England still qualified for the playoffs and will play Baltimore in the first round. For the season Moss caught 83 passes for 1,264 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Chris Hanson, P, New England Patriots

Punted 3 times for a 36.3 yard average with two kicks inside the twenty during New England’s 34 – 27 loss to Houston. Even though they lost New England still qualified for the playoffs and will play Baltimore in the first round. For the year Hanson punted 56 times for a 39.7 yard average with 18 attempts landing inside the twenty.

Chris Massey, LS, St. Louis Rams

Out for the season, St. Louis lost to San Francisco 28 - 6.

Chris Crocker, S, Cincinnati Bengals

Inactive with a ankle injury during Cincinnati’s 37 – 0 loss to New York (AFC). Cincinnati will be able to avenge there loss next week when the Jets come to Ohio in a first round playoff game. For the year Crocker registered 40 tackles with 2 interceptions and nine passes defended.

Byron Leftwich, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Was placed on IR November 24th due to elbow soreness. Tampa Bay lost to Atlanta 20 - 10. In three games this season Leftwich passed for 594 yards with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. During those three games he completed 54.2% of his passes.

C.J Spillman, S, San Diego Chargers

Registered 3 tackles and 3 assisted tackles during San Diego’s 23 – 20 win over Washington. I actually watched the game and Spillman missed a big tackle on Malcolm Kelly’s 84 yard reception but he had a great special teams tackle on Antwan Randle El to save a touchdown. For the year Spillman registered 8 tackles in 5 games. As the second seed (AFC) San Diego receives a bye during week one of the playoffs.

Ahmad Bradshaw, RB, New York Giants

Rushed 7 times for 13 yards and also caught 2 passes for 33 yards during New York’s 44 – 7 loss to Minnesota. For the season Bradshaw rushed 163 times for 778 yards (4.8 AVG) and a team leading 7 TD’s. Through the air he caught 21 balls for 207 yards.

Chad Pennington, QB, Miami Dolphins

Out for the season. Miami lost to Pittsburg 30 - 24. With the loss Miami was eliminated from playoff consideration. In three games this season Pennington passed for 413 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. His completion percentage was 68.9.

Jason Rader, TE, Atlanta Falcons.

Was active but did not catch a pass during Atlanta’s 20 – 10 win over Tampa Bay. Rader was signed by the Falcons before week fifteen and did not register a catch.
