Despite a two point lead with just ten seconds left in the game, Marshall could not hold off South Dakota State Saturday afternoon in the 2K Sports Classic at Hofstra University. Jackrabbit Chad White converted a three point attempt as the clock wound down to zero, putting SDST ahead 78-77 and securing Marshall's second loss of the season.
The Thundering Herd wraps up this weekends tournament tomorrow against Hofstra, tip-off is scheduled for 3pm ET.
