Marshall’s (3-3, 0-0) basketball season continues as Morehead State (4-2, 0-0) visits the Cam Henderson Center. While the schools are only separated by 60 miles of I-64 pavement, tonight’s meeting will be the first since 2007.
The Eagles are lead by senior small forward Milton Chavis who is averaging 18.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game. The Herd will also have to contend with point guard Devon Atkinson, a talented distributor that dished out seven assist in Monday’s 73-67 win over Norfolk State.
Morehead’s head coach Sean Woods returns to the bench tonight after being suspended one game for pushing one of his players during last week’s loss at Kentucky.
