Two notes on the Mountain West/Conference USA merger:
1) The Las Vegas Review Journal speculates that the new associations T.V contract might make Boise State and San Diego State think twice about leaving for the Big East.
2) University of New Mexico President David Schmidly tells the Albuquerque Journal that TV interest in the new league is high and he expects a broadcast agreement to be finalized in May.
