Former Marshall basketball player Hassan Whiteside has been promoted from the NBA Developmental League's Reno Big Horns to the Sacramento Kings.
The Kings sent Whiteside to the D-League on January 1st where he played 11 games, averaging 7.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3 blocks and 18.9 minutes per contest.
