Two notes on Marshall's basketball team, both provided by the Charleston Daily Mail's Chuck McGill:
1) The flight carrying Marshall's basketball team from Tulsa to Huntington made an unexpected emergency landing in Memphis Sunday morning. The plane landed safely but, unable to find another flight home the Thundering Herd rented six conversion vans to finish their trip.
2) Always good at digging up interesting statistics, McGill pointed out that the Herd is only 9-9 since beating Cincinnati Thanksgiving weekend.
