Plagued by 20 turnovers Marshall was downed by East Carolina 69-68 in overtime Wednesday night. Senior point guard Damier Pitts was the biggest offender, turning over the ball seven times while only distributing two assist.
During his final home game ECU senior forward Darrius Morrow had an impressive night, punishing Marshall with 27 points and eight rebounds.
The Thundering Herd returns to action this Saturday, closing out the regular season in Huntington against Southern Miss, tip off is scheduled for 2pm. Marshall's three seniors Dago Pena, Shaquille Johnson, and Pitts will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
