Marshall’s first surprise commitment of 2012 is Drew Charter School (GA) offensive lineman Eric Ansley. Weighing in at 6’7, 270 lbs, Ansley took an official visit to Marshall in mid-January and chose the Herd over offers from Ohio, Memphis, Troy, and Western Kentucky
Additional information about Ansley is scant but, last year as a high school senior (Drew Charter is a prep school) he was named a Southern Crescent All Second Team selection.
