Behind 20 points by senior point guard Damier Pitts Marshall beat SMU 73-68 in Dallas Saturday afternoon.
For the first time this season the Thundering Herd failed to meet both parameters on the McGill Matrix and still managed to win. Marshall shot above 42.5% but lost the rebounding battle 32-31.
