Despite trailing by eight at the break, Marshall used an impressive second half to top Houston 65-58 at home Wednesday evening. The Herd was lead by senior point guard Damir Pitts who scored 15 points and distributed six assist while avoiding any turnovers. Three other Marshall players, DeAndre Kane (14), Dago Pena (14), and Dennis Tinnon (10) also scored in double figures.
With the win and UCF's loss to Rice, Marshall moved into a tie for fourth place in Conference USA's standings.
