Linebacker Jephete Matilus has become Marshall's first verbal commitment for 2011. Matilus plays at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach Florida. According to Rivals.com Matilus was offered scholarships by Illinois, Nebraska, and Western Kentucky.
When the high school football season starts the Marshall Thundering Blog will follow Matilus and Atlantic High Schools progress.
