The University of Houston has hired James Dickey as their men’s basketball coach. Dickey was the head coach at Texas Tech from 1991 to 2001, making the NCAA tournament two times. Most recently Dickey was an assistant coach at Oklahoma State from 2002 – 2008.
Tulane has fired men’s basketball coach Dave Dickerson. Last season the Green Wave amassed a record of 8 – 22. Overall Dickerson compiled a 68 – 84 record at Tulane, his coaching tenure coincided with hurricane Katrina.
