Marshall in the NFL: Week 12

Weekly review of Marshall University alumni playing in the NFL.

1. Ahmad Bradshaw, Running Back, Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts placed Ahmad Bradshaw on injured reserve October 8th after he suffered a neck injury that required season ending surgery. For the season Bradshaw played in three games, rushing for 186 yards on 41 attempts with two touchdowns. He also caught seven passes for 42 yards.

2. Omar Brown, Safety, Baltimore Ravens

Ravens safety Omar Brown was inactive for Baltimore’s 19-3 win over the New York Jets.

3. Chris Crocker, Safety, Cincinnati Bengals

Bye week.

4Vinny Curry, Defensive End, Philadelphia Eagles

Bye week.

5. Aaron Dobson, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots

Benched for the second half of New England’s 34-31 comeback victory over the Denver Broncos, Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson finished the game without a catch or target.

6. Mario Harvey, Linebacker, Indianapolis Colts

Despite being active for the Colts 40-11 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Mario Harvey did not record any stats.

7. Albert McClellan, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens

Playing a mixture of special teams and defense, Albert McClellan made two tackles and almost sacked former WVU quarterback Geno Smith in Baltimore’s win over the Jets.

8. Doug Legursky, Guard/Center, Buffalo Bills

Bye week.

9. Lee Smith, Tight End, Buffalo Bills

Bye week.

10. C.J. Spillman, Safety, San Francisco 49ers

A special teams ace for the 49ers, C.J. Spillman recorded two tackles in San Francisco’s 27-6 win over the Washington Redskins.
