Hurricane High School (WV) quarterback Tyler Pate will accept a preferred walk on slot at Marshall University. This past season Pate lead Hurricane with over 2,300 yards passing and 19 touchdowns. He also rushed for an additional 268 yards and 12 TD’s. Pate was being pursued by many West Virginia Conference schools before deciding to walk on at Marshall.
