Allan Wasonga, a 5’9, 195 pound running back from Parkersburg High School (WV) will sign a letter of intent with Marshall later today. Wasonga hit the recruiting radar after an impressive junior season where he rushed for 2,203 yards and 28 touchdowns while being named a first team all state selection. His recruitment trailed off after a less impressive senior season, Wasonga rushed for 1,050 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2010. Rated a three star prospect by Rivals.com Wasonga was also being pursued by West Virginia and Ohio.
