Steward Butler, a 5’10, 170 pound running back from Lakeland High School (FL) has switched his verbal commitment from Arizona State to Marshall. According to a report by TheLedger.com writer Tom Zebold, Butler will sign a letter of intent with Marshall tomorrow.
During his senior season Butler rushed for 3,043 yards, the third highest single season total in Florida High School history. Rivals.com has Butler listed as a three star prospect. At this time it is not known if Butler will be a full qualifier, partial qualifier, or grey shirt.
