*Missed this from Chuck McGill's column in today's Daily Mail, Shakoor and Head violated team rules, that is why they were booted. Also, three other Herd players have transferred. Running linebacker Terrell Edwards-Maye is at Tuskegee, kicker Drew Stewart is at Appalachian State and lineman A.J. Scott has moved on to James Madison.

Per Herald Dispatch columnist Chuck Landon’s twitter account Marshall football players Ahmed Shakoor and Chris Head have been dismissed from the team. No reason was given for their dismissal.
Shakoor, a rising senior defensive back, played in 10 games last year starting four. He recorded 30 tackles with 2 pass break ups and no interceptions. Shakoor saw extensive action during his sophomore year, starting 10 games and breaking up 11 passes.
Head, a freshman, was redshirted last season a did not see any game action.
