Marshall has added another junior college safety to its 2013 recruiting class. Rivals.com is reporting that Lakeith Murray committed to the Thundering Herd..
As a senior at Florida's Lyman High School, Murray led Seminole County with six interceptions while registering 47 tackles. He signed a letter of intent with Football Championship Subdivision member Charleston Southern but it appears he never stepped foot on campus before enrolling at Venture Community College (CA).
This season at Venture, Murray recorded 31 tackles, two interceptions, and one sack. Standing six feet, 185 pounds he also had scholarship offers from New Mexico State and Wyoming.
Murray joins Marshall's other JUCO safety, Taj Letman in the Herd's 2013 recruiting class.
