A former Maryland signee, Fork Union Military Academy linebacker/safety Stefan Houston has given a verbal commitment to Marshall University.
As a senior at Maryland’s Clarksburg High School Houston played offense and defense, catching 38 passes for 698 yards and 12 touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, Houston recorded 85 tackles, eight sacks, three interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns. His impressive numbers earned him a second team All-Met selection by the Washington Post and three star rating by Rivals.com
Standing six-foot-three, 200 pounds, Houston played safety for Fork Union this fall and is project to play that position at Marshall.
Houston will finish the fall semester at Fork Union and enroll at Marshall in January. He will be able to sign a letter of intent on national signing day (February 6th).
