Per Palm Beach Post reporter Jeff Greer, wide receiver Angelo Jean-Louis verbally committed to Marshall University during his official visit this weekend.
Jean-Louis signed a letter of intent with Miami out of Florida’s Palm Beach Central High School but did not have the grades to qualify for admittance. One of ESPN’s top 150 recruits, he attended Fork Union Military Academy this year although, reports indicate grades are still an issue and Jean-Louis might have to sit out another season before gaining eligibility.
Standing six-foot, 185 pounds, Jean Louis was one of the top prospects in the class of 2012. Rivals.com ranked him as the 22nd best player in Florida and 8th among athletes nationwide.
According to Greer, Jean-Louis will enroll at Marshall this upcoming semester.
