In last years meeting Ohio used six Thundering Herd turnovers to catapult them selves to a 44-7 victory. Marshall quarterback Rakeem Cato had a particularly difficult game. In his third college start the young signal caller only completed nine of 21 passes for 166 yards and four interceptions.
Ohio is lead by quarterback Tyler Tettelton, son of former Major League Baseball player Mickey Tettelton. In two games this year, wins over Penn State and New Mexico State, the younger Tettelton has completed over 70% of his passes while tossing four touchdowns and no interceptions. The Bobcat offensive line has done a good job of keeping Tettelton's jersey clean, only allowing two sacks. Ohio's offense is buoyed by a strong ground attack, leading rusher Beau Blankenship is averaging 4.8 yards per carry and has eclipsed the 100 yard mark in Ohio's first two contest.
