Despite a valiant second half effort Marshall fell to Purdue 51-41 at Ross-Ade Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Two second quarter interceptions returned for touchdowns by Boilermaker defenders put the Thundering Herd in a 41-14 hole heading into halftime. Despite the deficit Marshall played hard in the second half, outscoring Purdue 27-9 in the last two quarters.
