Weekly review of Marshall Alumni in the NFL:
1. Ahmad Bradshaw, Running Back, New York Giants
Ahmad Bradshaw lead the Giants in rushing with 59 yards on 15 carries during New York’s 28-16 win over St. Louis. He also caught five passes for 45 yards.
2. C.J Spillman, Safety, San Francisco 49ers
Playing almost exclusively on special teams C.J Spillman recorded one tackle during San Francisco’s 27 – 24 overtime loss to Dallas on Sunday.
3. Chris Crocker, Safety, Cincinnati Bengals
Following up on last weeks impressive performance where he registered a sack and forced fumble, Chris Crocker failed to record any defensive statistics during Cincinnati’s 24 – 22 loss to Denver.
4. Doug Legursky, Guard/Center, Pittsburgh Steelers
Despite last weeks shaky performance Doug Legursky kept his starting job at right guard and helped Pittsburgh to 421 total offensive yards in a 24 – 0 win over Seattle.
5. Byron Lefwich, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers*
* On injured reserved, broken arm.
6. Albert McClellan, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens
Albert McClellan registered his first ever NFL regular season tackle during Baltimore’s 26 – 13 loss to Tennessee.
7. Lee Smith, Tight End, Buffalo Bills
Lee Smith was on the Bill’s inactive list as they beat Oakland 38 – 35.
