1. According to a NJ.com article East Carolina’s application to join the Big East has been denied.
2. In a Orlando Sentinel interview C-USA commissioner Britton Banowsky confirmed he will meet with Mountain West conference officials next week in Dallas to discuss a possible football only merger.
