Marshall alum named head football coach at New Mexico

Former Marshall football player George Barlow has been named interim head coach at the University of New Mexico, replacing the recently fired Mike Locksley. Barlow has served as New Mexico’s defensive coordinator for the past three seasons.

A standout safety at Marshall from 1986 – 1990, Barlow earner all Southern Conference honors during his time in Huntington.
