In a unprecedented resolution the West Virginia House of Delegates has recognized the importance of Marshall and WVU continuing their football series.
West Virginia House Resolution No. 25
That the House of Delegates hereby recognizes the importance of the annual Marshall - WVU football game and urges the continuation of the series; and, be it. Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Governor and the Presidents of Marshall University and West Virginia University.
The resolution was introduced by delegates Jim Morgan (Cabell), Dale Stephens (Cabell), Kevin Craig (Cabell) Carol Miller (Cabell), Kelli Sobonya (Cabell), Don Perdue (Wayne), and Doug Reynolds (Cabell).
