Yesterday I posted a couple of articles speculating that Marshall coach Tom Herrion might be under consideration for Providence’s head basketball job.
Today it appears that another schools head coach, Fairfield University’s Ed Cooley, is the front runner.
A Providence Journal story indicates that the Friars have been given permission to interview Cooley from Fairfield.
