Marshall Basketball: Tom Herrion to Providence Becoming Less Likely

As the search for Providence's next head basketball coach continues it is becoming less likely that Marshall’s Tom Herrion is being considered.

According to a cbssprots.com article Fairfield coach Ed Cooley and former Ohio State head coach Jim O’Brien are the front runners to replace Keno Davis. The report also indicated that Syracuse assistant Mike Hopkins and Boston University coach Pat Chambers are being considered but did not mention Herrion.
