Marshall basketball Donnie Jones interviewed Sunday at Conference USA rival Central Florida, the Gazette has confirmed, and has reportedly accepted the job.
FoxSports.com, citing "a source also in the mix for the position," reported Jones' move just after midnight today. Jones would take over for Kirk Speraw, who was fired after 17 years in the Orlando school.
Randy Burnside, Marshall's assistant athletic director for media relations, could not confirm anything more than rumors at 8:30 a.m.
