Head football coach Doc Holliday has added a late commitment to the 2010 recruiting class. Anthony Fletcher, a 6,3, 200 pound linebacker from Amherst County High School (VA) is Marshall's latest signee. During his senior season Fletcher recoded over 90 tackles and two sacks. Fletcher played a number of roles for Amherst last season. He ran the ball four times for nine yards and served as the teams punter, punting 23 times with a 38.7 yard average and nine punts inside the twenty.
