Marshall athletic director Mike Hamrick said Monday morning that Jones has taken the job at the University of Central Florida, a Thundering Herd rival in Conference USA.......

Marshall's search for a new coach begins immediately.

"We want to do it as quickly as possible, but still make sure it doesn't affect your decision," Hamrick said. "You want to make a good decision."

Whiteside, according to sources, made the decision prior to learning that Jones was leaving........

FOXSports.com has spoken to several NBA executives and most have said that Whiteside will likely be taken somewhere in the NBA lottery due to his potential, the report said.
