First reported by Huntington Herald Dispatch columnist Chuck Landon, Temple assistant Sean Cronin is returning to Marshall’s football staff, most likely as safeties coach.
Cronin coached the Thundering Herd’s defensive line in 2010, leaving after one season for the same position at Temple.
Strengthening his connection to Marshall, Cronin is also married to the daughter (Emily) of new defensive coordinator Chuck Heater.
