Two notes on the Conference USA basketball front.
1) Per multiple reports, including this one from CBS Sports, Southern Miss basketball coach Larry Eustachy has accepted the same job at Colorado State. Eustachy’s move is reminiscent of Donnie Jones departure from Marshall to UCF. As things stand now Southern Miss and CSU will be conference mates in 2013.
2) It appears that St. Louis head coach Rick Majerus has become the top target at SMU. If he accepts the job Majerus will spend one year coaching in C-USA before the Mustangs become Big East members.
