Per Chuck McGill of the Charleston Daily Mail, Cedric Walker has joined Marshall's football team as a walk on. Walker signed a letter of intent with Florida International in February but did not appear on the Golden Panthers pre-season roster. Listed at 5’8, 175 pounds, Walker played running back in high school (Gulliver Prep, Miami Florida) but is listed as a three star corner back prospect by Rivals.com. Since Walked signed a letter of intent at FIU he must sit out the 2011 season.
