It looks like Conference USA is about to have two more coaching vacancies.
Multiple reports indicate that Larry Fedora has accepted the head coaching position at North Carolina. Fedora’s name has been associated with the UNC job ever since he lead Southern Mississippi to an upset victory over Houston in the C-USA championship game.
Laken Litman, who covers SMU athletics for Fox Sports and Scout.com, just tweeted that Mustangs head coach June Jones pulled his assistants off the recruiting trail for an emergency meeting. The meeting is supposedly to discuss Jones leaving SMU for Arizona State.
