Marshall Football: Miami’s Ricardo Williams Transfers to Thundering Herd

First reported by Derek Redd of the Charleston Daily Mail, former Miami defensive end Ricardo Williams has transferred to Marshall and started practice with the Thundering Herd today.

Williams joined the Hurricanes in 2011 as a three star recruit from Homestead Senior High School (FL). He redshirted his first year on campus and played in one game last season without recording any stats.

Per NCAA transfer rules Williams must sit out the upcoming football season. Starting in 2014 the 6-foot-5, 251 pound defensive lineman would have two years of eligibility remaining at Marshall.
