Hammond has given a verbal commitment to Marshall University.
During his junior season Hammond registered 112 tackles, seven
pass break ups, three tackles for loss, and a interception. He was also named a
All-Area
First Team defender by the Augusta Chronicle.
Hammond stands 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. Besides Marshall he
also received scholarship offers from Georgia State, Georgia Southern, and
Western Kentucky.
