Marshall’s football staff continued its hard work on the recruiting trail today, picking up a commitment from Georgia athlete Keion Davis.
The primary ball carrier at Langston Hughes High School, Davis rushed for 1,068 yards on 197 attempts and 12 touchdowns during his junior season. He also caught an five passes for 50 yards and two additional scores.
Rivals ranks the six foot, 185 pound Davis as a two star recruit and 247Sports calls him the 89th best prospect in the state of Georgia. Besides Marshall he also had scholarship offers from Mississippi State, Georgia State, and South Alabama. With today’s announcement Davis becomes the Thundering Herds fourth verbal commitment from Georgia.
